Exploring the desert has always been, and always will be, a part of Egypt that will remain forever. Many people go on vacation to Egypt to take four wheeler trips and off road safaris. The desert is great for that. There is an abundance of trail riding areas and the entire desert is pretty much yours to enjoy. Lots of fabulous four wheeling trips and desert adventures have been had here.

Bidding on herbs, spices, clothing, and all kinds of various items has been a long time part of Egyptian culture. Because prices are always fluctuating, and sometimes traders needed to get rid of their supply of perishables, making a deal became the way of the markets. You can still find some great deals if you have good negotiation skills, but if you don’t know where to find the deals then it may be best for you to stick to the retail trade. It depends on your level of knowledge in the markets and who sells what, etc.

Hiking up historic Mt. Sinai has always been popular. Many hikers have made it to the top or a made a good go at it. There are lots of other places to take hiking trips in Egypt, just make sure you dress for some extremely hot weather. The temperatures can get pretty extreme.

A cruise on the Nile River may be just what you’ve been needing. There are many luxurious ships that will accommodate you on your cruise, but it’s up to you to find the ships that have a positive feedback rating from their customers.
